Burnaby Public Library
The Burnaby Public Library offers a diverse collection of tales, ideas, and information to the community. Get help from library staff, in person, over the phone, and via email for everything from book recommendations to in-depth research questions. The library also offers a variety of programs for children and families, teens, adults, seniors, and newcomers to the community.
In 2019, over 3 million items were checked out, and 1.8 million people visited the four branches in person. Burnaby Public Library conducted 1,194 events and welcomed 23,037 new users. Every day, about 5,000 people visit a Burnaby Public Library branch.
BPL provides access to information services and library collections through its four branches, online, and community outreach (including books, DVDs, newspapers, magazines, and research materials).

An online collection of streaming titles includes graphic novels, enhanced novels, e-books and audiobooks, classics, and National Geographic videos.

Explore BPL’s book club sets – Ten copies of a single publication are available for a six-week loan period.
